Yes. Free is free forever, up to 3 members and 2 active projects, with clients, projects, tasks, and basic time tracking. No trial clock, no card. It's capped small on purpose so you can see whether it fits how you work.
Every paid plan (Starter and Pro) starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card up front. If you don't add a payment method by the end, the org drops to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, and you just lose the paid features until you upgrade.
You pay for each person who has a seat in your organization, whether Admin, Manager, or Developer. Add someone mid-cycle and you're billed a prorated amount. Remove someone and the seat frees up at the next cycle.
Annual billing runs about 20% cheaper per member, roughly two months free, and you're billed once for the year. Monthly is billed every month at the higher rate. You can switch between them from billing settings.
Anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period, so you keep the features you paid for through the end of the cycle.
You keep access through the end of the paid period, then the org moves to Free. You can export your organization's data before or after cancelling. It's yours.
No. That feature is for paying the developers and contractors who did the work, as settlement against approved estimates. It is not for invoicing your clients. It lives on the Pro plan and up.
